Successful physiotherapy requires proximity and transparency. This is only possible with a trusting and personal basis. That is why we would like to introduce our team and the practice in detail here. At Physios Köln, we want you to know exactly who we are and how we work. And if you have any questions, please contact us directly!
We want you to be able to rely on us and see and feel real progress. That is why we have committed ourselves to these values:
Only through close, holistic cooperation, in which both the doctor's perspective and the patient are integrated into the decision-making process, can we ensure satisfied and healthy patients who feel comfortable and understood.
Modern physiotherapy must be adaptable and effective. That is why we always take the latest research into account in our physiotherapy approach and rely on both familiar and new concepts that have been investigated. This keeps us young and innovative.
Our training and many years of experience have sensitised us to excellent treatment quality. The integration of scientific findings and our close collaboration also ensure that we are able to constantly improve quality and respond to new developments.

The main thing is to be active! I've always enjoyed exercise, whether it's mountain biking, skiing, martial arts or water sports. Working as a physiotherapist naturally fits in very well with this. In the past, for example, I have also looked after the 1st men's football team of Sc.

I come from beautiful Cologne and love the city with all its facets. I love sport and like to try out new things, whether I'm playing myself or supporting a team. As a handball player, team play is very important to me. Success only comes about when everyone pulls together and supports each other, and that's how I put it into practice in therapy.

Co-operations and partnerships strengthen the exchange and promote the transfer of knowledge. Physiotherapy benefits from this in every respect. We therefore attach great importance to a network based on partnership:
Physios Köln was not created overnight. We, Sebastian Froesch and Jan Niklas Dürr, recognised during our training that there was a need for a young, modern and evidence-based physiotherapy practice here in Cologne. There is a need for sensible treatments and examinations that take individual needs into account and also focus precisely on which concepts bring benefits and don't waste valuable time, so since our paths first crossed in 2012 during our primary training at the Präha Health School in Kerpen, we have travelled our educational paths together and set an important course for our joint practice and philosophy. After our training as physiotherapists, we went on to complete our Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at the Hoogeschool Zuyd Heerlen in the Netherlands, alongside our practical physiotherapy work in various practices. We knew that we wanted to offer more than just passive treatment. Scientific work and active patient involvement are the key to successful therapies. The course enabled us to integrate research and build an adaptable, effective and evidence-based practice, and we then specialised even further in the Master's course in manual therapy at the SOMT University in Amersfoort, the Netherlands: We were trained as clinical specialist therapists for manual therapy and can therefore work extensively in the musculoskeletal field. Comprehensive diagnosis and the application of precise manual therapy mobilisation techniques are part of the concept. Evidence-based practice (EBP), scientific work in physiotherapy, was also once again the focus of the programme: we can make well-founded and targeted decisions together with the patient.
Our academic training and experience laid the foundation and numerous further training courses followed. In 2021, we found the perfect location for our own physiotherapy practice in Weißhausstraße in Cologne-Sülz. Together with our patients from the various neighbourhoods - whether from Sülz, Klettenberg or the other side of the Rhine - we now take a professional and holistic approach to movement and mobility.
